Job Description

The Dot Net Developer role is a crucial position within our development team, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of both new and existing .NET applications. This includes creating solutions within a dynamic environment that requires adaptability to changing project requirements and constraints. The developer will collaborate with other developers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering and is experienced in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment. They should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and have a keen eye for optimizing application performance and user experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust .NET applications to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practice adherence and code improvements.
  • Write clear, scalable, and reusable code using .NET programming languages.
  • Integrate data storage solutions and manage software deployment processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders and team members.
  • Document technical specifications and project-related workflows meticulously.
  • Lead the implementation of development methodologies and iteratively improve systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
  • Proficient in .NET languages (C#, VB.NET) and related frameworks.
  • Experience with Web application development and database management.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Familiarity with the framework's language guidelines and coding standards.
  • Experienced in using modern development practices like Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in coding tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
