Job Description

A Counter Sales Executive plays a crucial role in the retail or wholesale sales environment by directly engaging with customers, assisting them with inquiries, and facilitating purchase transactions. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically when they enter the store.

  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue and meet sales goals.

  • Maintain a clean and appealing display of merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a coordinated customer experience.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay informed about new product lines.
  • Track sales performance and provide feedback for improvements in services.
  • Handle customer exchanges, returns, and refunds following company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in retail, sales, or a similar customer service position.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to sales.
  • Ability to manage transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and basic office software programs.
  • Capability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills paired with the ability to handle customer complaints.
