They work closely with IT teams and end-users to troubleshoot issues and provide swift solutions, reducing downtime and enhancing user productivity. Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer systems and applications for user readiness.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain a log of all technical queries and resolutions for future reference.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure consistently high system performance.
• Collaborate with IT personnel to enhance system security protocols and policies.
• Respond to staff queries in person, via email, or over the phone promptly.
• educate and train users on basic operations and best practices for system use.
• Repair and upgrade older hardware to meet current system requirements.
• Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and resources efficiently.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedural manuals accurately.
• Manage and prioritize multiple technical support queries simultaneously.
• Stay updated on new technologies and software updates that enhance organizational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar IT role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and diverse software systems.
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software issues rapidly.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and end-users.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
