Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources 15D25 plays a pivotal role in the seamless functioning of the HR department. This position is integral to managing and overseeing various HR operations while supporting the strategic initiatives that drive talent acquisition, development, and retention within the organization. This role requires collaborating with different departments to ensure that HR activities align with the company’s goals and objectives. The Assistant Manager will also be pivotal in executing policies, managing administration tasks, and providing expert advice on HR practices and employment law. With an emphasis on leadership, this role also involves mentoring junior HR staff, thereby contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and positive employee relations across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Manager in planning and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent efficiently.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Develop and implement policies that improve workplace culture and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support managers in performance management.
  • Assist in developing HR metrics and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for skill development and compliance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Handle employee relations and mediate conflicts to maintain a harmonious environment.
  • Participate in special projects and assist in strategic HR planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
