Job Description

An Accounting and Reporting Specialist is a vital component in ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of a company. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic business decisions.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and oversee budgets.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of financial discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax documents and government filings.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with precision.
  • Utilize accounting software to input and process financial transactions efficiently.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders about financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
