Responsibilities

• Develop intricate and innovative jewellery designs using 3D CAD software tools.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to capture design requirements effectively.
• Create precise and detailed 3D models from initial design concepts and sketches.
• Ensure designs are functional and feasible for production and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of jewellery industry trends and CAD technology advancements.
• Revise and adjust CAD models based on feedback from peers and stakeholders.
• Generate technical documentation including blueprints and material specifications for designs.
• Work alongside jewelry makers to resolve design and functionality issues promptly.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Ensure rendered designs meet quality control specifications before production stages.
• Coordinate and oversee the production of prototypes to ensure design integrity.
• Assist in the development of promotional materials by providing detailed product visuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in 3D CAD designing, particularly in jewellery.
• Proficient with CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, or SolidWorks.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding of jewellery aesthetics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design ideas and receive feedback.
