Job Description

The Guest Relations Officer plays a critical role in enhancing the overall guest experience at our establishment. This position serves as the primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, ensuring that their needs are met with efficiency and care. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service. Tasked with creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Guest Relations Officer must be proactive in addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. This role requires a deep understanding of our services and facilities, enabling the officer to offer personalized recommendations and facilitate memorable guest experiences. As part of the hospitality team, the Guest Relations Officer must also coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and amenities.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and service requests promptly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest concerns.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process efficiently for guests.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by following up on complaints and feedback.
  • Provide accurate information about local attractions and events.
  • Manage guest reservations and ensure special requests are fulfilled.
  • Create a memorable guest experience through personalized interaction.
  • Collect guest feedback to improve service and report to management.
  • Assist in promoting hotel amenities and up-selling services effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented approach required.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and manage multiple tasks.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, approachable demeanor necessary.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and computer skills preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
