Job Description
The E-Commerce Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to provide insights and recommendations to optimize the company's online sales and marketing strategies. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions and provide actionable insights to improve the user experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms to support business decisions.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize statistical analysis techniques to provide insights on customer behavior and preferences.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize online campaigns and promotions.
- Identify areas for improvement in data collection processes and data quality.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze the impact on user engagement and conversion rates.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and online analytics tools.
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and statistical analysis.
