Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reliability of infrastructure and applications.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to automation and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and provide automation solutions.
- Manage configuration and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure uptime and performance of infrastructure.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented in the automation and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to automation and DevOps practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members on automation and infrastructure-related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience working with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
