Job Description

As a Spa Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and essential first point of contact for our spa guests. You will create an inviting and memorable experience for every visitor, while seamlessly managing the operational functions of the front desk. You will ensure that all visitors receive a personalized and courteous greeting, while efficiently managing booking appointments, answering inquiries, and processing payments. Success in this role requires outstanding customer service skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a genuine passion for wellness and relaxation. Your role is crucial to ensure our guests have a seamless and enjoyable spa experience from start to finish.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet all guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Manage the spa’s appointment calendar and schedule spa services efficiently.
  • Handle all incoming calls and provide accurate and helpful information.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately process transactions and handle cash using the spa's financial systems.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, pleasant, and well-organized for guests.
  • Coordinate with spa staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Promote spa services, packages, and promotions to potential and existing clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of spa services and products offered.
  • Track and monitor inventory levels for retail products and amenities.
  • Assist in administrative tasks like sending confirmation and reminder emails.
  • Collect customer feedback and contribute ideas for service improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in a spa or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using booking systems and familiar with MS Office tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • A calm and professional demeanor with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • A passion for wellness, beauty, and customer satisfaction.
