Job Description

The Spa Receptionist plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and serene atmosphere for clients and guests at our luxury spa. This position requires a friendly demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to providing unparalleled customer service. As the first point of contact for clients, the Spa Receptionist is responsible for managing bookings, answering inquiries, and providing detailed information about our spa services and amenities. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping clients enjoy the highest level of relaxation and rejuvenation. This role demands professionalism, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a calm and efficient manner.


Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly as they enter the spa and ensure their comfort.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information on services.
  • Schedule spa appointments and manage facility bookings with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a tidy and serene reception area, conducive to relaxation and comfort.
  • Process payments and manage cash register with attention to detail and security.
  • Assist clients in selecting spa services customized to their individual needs.
  • Coordinate with spa therapists and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle client complaints and feedback, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all spa services, packages, and promotions.
  • Prepare and manage gift certificates and other promotional materials for clients.
  • Keep accurate records of client information, appointments, and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and spa policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, courteous demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Proficient in using scheduling software and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
