Senior Denter

Job Description

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of structural and body damage.
• Perform denting, panel beating, and body alignment using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Repair or replace damaged panels, fenders, bumpers, and other body components.
• Work closely with painters and mechanics to ensure smooth repair workflow.
• Ensure all repairs are completed according to safety and quality standards.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Supervise or guide junior denters when required.
• Complete job cards and update the supervisor on progress.
• Follow workshop safety policies and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma / ITI or equivalent technical certification in Automobile Body Repair.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a denter in an automotive workshop or dealership.
• Strong knowledge of body alignment, welding, and metal finishing techniques.
• Ability to work on various vehicle makes and models.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
