Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' orders, assess patients' needs, and ensure excellent patient outcomes. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible. Your role is essential in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients while providing emotional support to them and their families. Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians to patients.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education on treatment plans and management of illness to patients and their families.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and assist with procedure execution.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of the medical histories of patients.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all medical equipment in the care area.
  • Promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors by ensuring adherence to infection-control policies.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, using critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Participate in staff training and evaluation programs to maintain high-quality competencies and performance.
  • Supervise and direct junior nursing staff and nursing assistants in the unit.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Strong understanding of current clinical practices and nursing standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are highly recommended.
