Job Description

The QA QC Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of all products and processes within an organization. This position is responsible for coordinating with various departments to establish quality standard procedures and systems that meet regulatory standards while also ensuring customer satisfaction. The person in this role will oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) operations, lead audits, manage documentation, and guide continuous improvement initiatives. A successful QA QC Coordinator is detail-oriented, has excellent analytical skills, and is capable of working collaboratively across departments. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain product and process quality.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for quality improvements and optimizations.
  • Trains staff on quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance proficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance quality control measures and standards.
  • Ensure all quality-related legislative and regulatory compliance is maintained or exceeded.
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance training sessions.
  • Support product development through quality checkpoints and release sign-offs.
  • Review and approve quality control plans and strategies that align with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and control practices and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of industry quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficient in quality management systems and related software tools.
