Job Description

The role of a Patient Administration Executive is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare facilities by managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. As a front-line representative, you will be responsible for managing patient admissions, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing medical insurance claims and obtain authorizations when required.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on patient statistics and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies in all administrative procedures.
  • Assist in patient discharge processes and provide necessary information for follow-up care.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient reception area to support patient and visitor needs.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that enhances the patient and family experience within the facility.
  • Utilize hospital information systems to manage patient data effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare administrative role is highly advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in hospital management software.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with patients and staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
