Job Description

This role requires strong technical expertise, effective stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities to drive digital transformation across customer-facing self-service platforms.

To lead the requirement analysis, design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions and modern technology proposals that align with Mashreq’s strategic objectives.

To collaborate with infrastructure, support, and vendor teams to manage Run the Bank operations, stabilize the production environment, handle production incidents, and perform impact analysis on new changes to prevent future disruptions.

  • Provide desired solution for business requirements and ensure minimum defect leakages from development and testing phases of the project
  • Proactively test the desired functionality.
  • Ensure changes are being tracked throughout the project.
  • Identify system improvements and simplify the system complexity.
  • Provide 24x7 support for self-service channels systems to ensure expected system availability and stability.
  • System monitoring and analysis - Pro-actively report the issues, analyze and provide solution.
  • Service tickets support – Service tickets closure as per agreed SLA with root cause analysis and bug fixing if required.
  • Coordinate with associated teams to apply Security/OS/DB patches/indexing /performance optimization & etc.
  • Development & support on the compliance & regulatory mandates.
  • Follow up and co-ordinate with internal teams for SIT, UAT support and Production Rollout.
  • Ensure smooth production releases by aligning with all stakeholders for sanity checks and verifications.
  • Good knowledge of Self-service customer facing ATM & Online Channels.
  • Ability to work on Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, PL-SQL knowledge mandatory.
  • Good knowledge in Core Java with external systems integration like DB/Web services/CRM.
  • Good knowledge in Apache/Tomcat or any other web server.
  • Good knowledge in J2EE/JRE/.Net and VXML.
  • Ability to review, understand system and API documentation.
  • Ability to work Microservice based Applications and Solutionize it.
  • Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
  • Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work with Vendor based products and negotiation skills for cost and delivery timelines.
  • 3-5 years programming and support experience with 3+ years project work in a relevant domain.
  • Domain Knowledge in Card / ATM / Online systems.
  • Proficiency in ISO-8583 1987 and 1992 formats.
