Become a key player in our mission to improve the lives of patients. As a Key Accounts Lead for Institutions and Private Hospitals, you will drive Novo Nordisk’s commitment to excellence and execution in key account management across our entire portfolio.

Your new role

As Key Accounts Lead, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of Novo Nordisk business in the affiliate by ensuring excellence in Key Account Management planning and orchestrating the execution, while representing Novo Nordisk’s vision, values and commitments when facing key customers.

Your key accountabilities will include:


  • Leading the development of tailored cross-functional plans to meet the unique needs of each key account across the entire NN portfolio
  • Operational excellence to ensure seamless supply and demand management for all Novo Nordisk products, including securing orders, managing stock, forecasting and reporting
  • Driving commercial offerings at account level in collaboration with cross-functional team to enhance product performance and patient reach
  • Monitoring market dynamics and gathering insights to develop new business initiatives and/or enhance current ones, improving business performance by effectively addressing each account’s needs



Your new department

You will be part of the Diabetes & RareD department - a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients. Our department focuses on promoting innovative solutions for diabetes and rare diseases, working closely with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and institutions. Located in a fast-paced and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes and driving business success.

Your Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:


  • A MSc degree in pharmacy, business or a relevant field
  • 10+ years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical sector
  • 5+ years of experience in key account management in the pharmaceutical sector, with proven track record within UAE and preferably towards governmental accounts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management / engagement skills
  • A results-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of driving performance in collaboration with cross-functional team
  • Capability to operate with a high degree of independence
