Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive design concepts and present them to clients for approval.
• Select and specify materials, furniture, and decor that fit the client's aesthetic desires.
• Create detailed space plans and floor plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure the project aligns with design intent.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively for successful implementation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design specifications are adhered to.
• Source products and materials from vendors and negotiate terms to optimize client budgets.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
• Prepare detailed sketches, renderings, and mood boards to visually communicate design ideas.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns within the team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand and fulfill their evolving needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent visualization skills with the ability to communicate design concepts clearly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and ADA compliance regulations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project scopes.
