Job Description
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. They will diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform regular maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The HVAC Technician will also provide technical support to customers and advise on energy-saving measures.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Replace worn-out or faulty components and ensure proper functioning of systems.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations during installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding HVAC systems.
- Recommend energy-saving measures and improvements to enhance system performance.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure effective system integration.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in HVAC or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system issues.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
