Job Description

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by undertaking a variety of administrative duties. You are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the HR department with your excellent organizational and people skills. You'll handle a wide range of tasks including recruiting, maintaining employee records, and assisting in onboarding new hires. Your contribution is significant as you provide required data, reports, and insights which help in smooth functioning and decision-making within the department. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to manage various HR-related tasks with utmost discretion, professionalism, and integrity.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Support in conducting new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
  • Prepare and manage HR documents, such as employment contracts and offers.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Participate in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
  • Support the implementation of new HR policies and procedures.
  • Help in preparing reports on HR metrics such as headcount and turnover rates.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule follow-up interviews.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations.
  • Perform various administrative duties such as filing, emailing, and data entry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and related software tools.
  • Proactive attitude with a problem-solving approach to tasks.
