Job Description

The HR Assistant role involves supporting the HR department with a variety of tasks to ensure efficient and effective human resources operations. This position requires a proactive individual capable of handling recruitment, employee relations, and administrative duties. You will assist in the coordination of HR processes, maintain employee records, and contribute to a positive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating communications.
  • Maintain employee records by updating databases and filing systems accurately.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and presentations.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and provide assistance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on various HR metrics.
  • Organize and maintain the HR office environment to ensure a professional atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to implement company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in conducting employee benefits orientations and updating benefits information.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and track attendance and performance.
  • Support employee engagement activities and company events planning and execution.
  • Participate in HR meetings and take detailed notes for documentation purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and assist in HR audits and investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience working in an HR role or administrative position is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HR software tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
