Head Of Section - Facility Management

Job Description

• Lead and oversee operations of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, infrastructure, and support services to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted healthcare operations.
• Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs; enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
• Develop and execute facilities management strategy, annual operational plans, and performance objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Prepare technical specs for maintenance tenders; supervise contractors; review reports; approve payments; enforce penalties per contract.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities and international accreditation standards via audits and documentation.
• Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, and lifecycle data; develop asset replacement and optimization plans based on performance and risk.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, resource utilization, and operational costs; identify and implement cost optimization initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks; respond to emergencies, lead troubleshooting efforts, and ensure rapid restoration of critical systems.
• Lead inspections and quality checks across maintenance phases; chair/participate in technical committees.
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree Facilities/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field

Master’s Degree Facility Management/energy/safety

Certification Maintenance / Safety / Healthcare Engineering

7–8 years – Including 3 years in managerial/supervisory roles within facilities management, preferably healthcare.
