Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Fighting Engineer to join our client's team in Umm Al Quwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection and firefighting systems in compliance with UAE Civil Defense regulations, NFPA standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review firefighting and fire alarm systems in accordance with UAE Civil Defense requirements and NFPA standards.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, BOQs, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities for approvals and project execution.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of firefighting systems.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical support throughout project lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve engineering and site-related issues efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support project handover and maintenance teams with technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in firefighting and fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Defense regulations and NFPA standards.
• Experience in design, installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be given preference.
• Candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Umm Al Quwain are highly preferred.
