Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in electrical systems design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and project execution within the UAE. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review electrical systems, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and UAE regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Monitor project progress, quality standards, and budget requirements.
• Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and technical submittals.
• Review and approve shop drawings and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA/SEWA/FEWA regulations and applicable electrical codes.
• Maintain project records, reports, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant UAE experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with electrical load calculations, panel design, and power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with UAE electrical regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
• Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Umm Al Quwain or nearby Emirates.
• Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or facilities management environments.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
