We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, approved by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). As an Electrical Engineer in our firm, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems that meet DEWA standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise will contribute to critical infrastructural developments and projects across Dubai, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. You will also be pivotal in guiding junior engineers and coordinating with other departments to achieve project milestones, maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with DEWA standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure project safety standards are thoroughly met.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Prepare detailed electrical design documents and specifications for projects.
• Supervise junior engineers and ensure their work meets the company and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with local and international safety standards.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients and stakeholders regarding projects.
• Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets and report directly to senior management.
• Stay updated on the latest DEWA regulations and electrical engineering advancements.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of engineering processes and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• DEWA approval is mandatory with a valid and up-to-date certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in using electrical design and simulation software like AutoCAD and ETAP.
• Strong understanding of local and international electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Experience in project management and the ability to multitask on several projects.
