Job Description

We are looking for Customer Data Specialist to be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer data across systems, primarily within CRM. This role ensures compliance with data governance guidelines and quality standards, enabling reliable data for business operations and decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Data Quality Management

 

  • Manage customer data in accordance with guidelines and quality rules defined by the Data Domain Owner.
  • Monitor Data Quality KPIs and deploy Data Quality Improvement Action Plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of known data issues and document findings in the knowledge database.

Data Monitoring & Governance

 

  • Ensure consistency of customer data across systems, focusing on quality, security, and confidentiality.
  • Monitor data KPIs and initiate corrective actions when required.
  • Manage data access approvals in compliance with security and privacy standards.

Operational Activities

 

  • Execute data correction programs and lead data cleansing initiatives.
  • Act as part of the business operations team with dedicated responsibility for managing customer data.
  • Execute data stewardship processes.
  • Maintain compliance with security and privacy regulations for data access.

Process Improvement & Lifecycle Feedback

 

  • Identify pain points in the data lifecycle and processes.
  • Share insights with the Data Domain Owner, Data Rules and Standards Owner, and Data Quality Manager to drive improvements.
  • Ensure data risk management including security and privacy.

Issue Resolution & Prevention

 

  • Resolve data-related issues or requests via ticketing systems.
  • Execute data corrections and lead local action plans to prevent recurring data issues.

Community & Collaboration

 

  • Contribute to the Network of Excellence (NoE) within the data domain.
  • Collaborate with Commercial (Sales and Channel Marketing) teams, other Data Domain Stewards, Strategy & Business Development, CS&Q and Sales Excellence teams as well as other domain stakeholders to align on data quality and governance practices.
