Job Description

The Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business processes and technological systems. As a Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments to identify requirements, create and implement solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your analytical acumen will help to translate complex business objectives into functional features. The BA is expected to conduct market analyses, analyzing both product lines and the overall profitability of the business. In addition, they are responsible for developing and monitoring data quality metrics and ensuring business data and reporting needs are met. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to think in a strategic manner, and robust communication capabilities to articulate business needs to technical developers.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and articulate business requirements through critical evaluation of information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for projects.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and ensure data accuracy to support decision-making.
  • Create detailed business and functional specifications for development teams.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and ensure systems function as expected.
  • Analyze and map out business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure solutions align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Develop and prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Liaise between IT department and business units during system implementation.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to familiarize users with system changes.
  • Monitor industry trends to foresee future business needs and propose enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice for system users post-implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to write detailed, clear business and functional specifications.
  • Experience with data visualization tools to analyze and depict data accurately.
  • Superior communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and teams.
  • Proficiency in using BPMN and other business process modeling methodologies.
