Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and executing successful sales strategies. This dynamic position involves working closely with the sales team, customers, and management to ensure sales targets are met and key accounts are maintained and developed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a strong commercial awareness, and an aptitude for solving problems quickly. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the performance and development of the sales team effectively.

  • Support the Sales Manager in planning and executing sales meetings.
  • Facilitate excellent customer service by resolving issues and complaints.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products and services.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams for cohesive market strategies.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of the sales staff.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and trends for management review.
  • Organize and lead presentations for potential clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with effective communication.
  • Excellent analytical ability to interpret sales metrics and market data.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines consistently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.
