Role Purpose

Role Purpose:

Supervise and lead crews/workers engaged in Industrial, Commercial and Residential building works

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and control skilled labour and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the works aspects of the project in various trades   
• Demonstrate good organizational skills, following policies, procedures and work practices.
• Read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, drawings and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
• Command respect of his workforce and develop excellent working relationships with all other department personnel.   
• Convey instructions in an efficient and effective way to his workforce.   
• Lead and supervise workers engaged in the construction of Industrial, Commercial and Residential buildings and other trade works and assists the trade foreman in the coordination and performance or related activities.
• Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials.    
• Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.
• Familiar with all Company safety and QA/QC procedures, regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under his responsibility.
• Ensure strict adherence of HSE policies and procedures set
• Report HSE incidents/violations etc. to superiors on time
• Strict adherence of legal requirements
• Drive innovation and encourage continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

• Minimum High School Certificate.
• 3-5 years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience.
• Knowledge of related trade field

Must have successfully become a master tradesman in related field as necessary
