A Snapshot of your day
Your day involves performing hands-on tasks across all aspects of gas turbine installation, overhaul, and servicing, including combustion chamber and burner maintenance, as well as main component assembly.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Carry out work activities in line with the highest EHS standards, including confined space and working at height compliance.
- Apply knowledge of Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) processes during maintenance activities.
- Perform maintenance and refurbishment of combustion chamber components, including ceramic tiles and burners.
- Execute assembly and disassembly of turbine frames (2000E and 4000F), casings, and related components.
- Interpret and work in accordance with technical documentation such as drawings, technical instructions, P&ID diagrams, and test records.
- Assess equipment condition, perform repairs or improvements, and complete all required documentation for installations, inspections, maintenance, and failures.
What You Bring
- Ideally 3+ years of Field Service experience, including 1–2 years of maintenance on prime movers in power stations.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools such as feeler gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial gauges, and block gauges.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken) with experience working in multicultural teams; German language skills are an advantage.
- Experience with 4000F and 2000E tiling, as well as field service or breakdown maintenance, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hydraulic tightening equipment (e.g., Hytorc/ITH) is considered an advantage.
- Vocational or technical qualification in Mechanical discipline (mandatory), with a results-driven, proactive, and team-oriented mindset; willingness to travel frequently, work shifts, and take on international assignments.
