Job Description
A Service Engineer specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for HVAC systems. They work closely with clients to understand their requirements and resolve any issues with their heating and cooling systems. The engineer conducts inspections, diagnoses problems, and performs repairs or replacements of HVAC equipment. They also assist in the installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC systems
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair faulty HVAC equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and preventive measures on HVAC systems
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including recommendations and repairs
- Stay updated on HVAC technology advancements and industry best practices
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and controls
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
