Primary Objective
Acquire goods and services at the lowest possible total end user cost to Worley and its Clients considering safety, price, service, quality and delivery
Roles And Responsiblities
Utilise Worley or its Client’s, policies, processes, and procedures to optimise purchasing, expediting, inventory control and disposition of materials.
Procure materials and equipment in a safe, timely, efficient and cost effective manner in accordance with the ROS date.
Conduct business activities in compliance with the Worley Code of Conduct.
Ensure that vendor selection meets the policies, practices and procedures of Worley and its Clients.
Understand Customer Service Expections, review and measure procurement performance in line with their expectations
Ensure that customer requests and specifications are consistent with sound commercial and engineering practices considering Worley and its Clients standards and market conditions.
Direct and develop appropriate Materials Systems to aid effective procurement and materials management.
Utilise strategic planning and procurement targeting to capitalise on future opportunities and economic conditions significant to the Worley and its Clients long and short term goals thus managing risk and optimising profitability.
Interface with Clients on the transportation of materials, supplies and services and the optimum utilisation of resources.
Develop programmes to optimise and control levels of inventory held by our Clients
Report on goals, targets and achievements in agreed format.
Identify, initiate and report on opportunities for economies.
Measure performance and employ strategies for tangible and continuous improvements.
Manage business risk imported via Third Parties Goods and Services, including HSEQ, Commercial and Technical.
Understand HSEQ Legislative aspects of Procurement and Materials Management e.g. COSHH, IMDG, IATA.
Experience And Qualifications Required
Degree in Engineering or Commercial / Legal Discipline. A recognised professional procurement qualification is a distinct advantage e.g .MCIPS
Minimum years of experience in Senior Procurement roles within relevant industries
Full Suite of Interpersonal, IT and Supervisory Skills
Proficient in the use of CMMS Systems & Tools
Matching Indicators
Degree in Engineering or Legal / Commercial Discipline
