Job Description
The Proposal & Estimation Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the development of project proposals and cost estimates. They collaborate with various teams to gather requirements, analyze scope, and define project timelines. The Manager also reviews and evaluates proposals and ensures they meet customer requirements and align with the organization's goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the proposal development process from initiation to submission.
- Gather requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals.
- Analyze project scope, objectives, and constraints to define proposal deliverables and timelines.
- Review and evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance teams to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues in proposals.
- Ensure proposal content is compelling, clear, and aligned with organizational messaging.
- Track and manage proposal timelines, coordinating with contributors and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-proposal evaluations and analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in proposal management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in proposal management and development.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
