Job Description

As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processing for the company. Your main duties will include processing and calculating salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, and other payments for employees accurately and timely. You will also be in charge of ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll, as well as maintaining accurate records of employee information and earnings. Additionally, you will handle queries from employees regarding their pay and benefits, and work closely with the HR department to update employee data and make any necessary payroll adjustments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a good understanding of payroll processes and software. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in payroll administration. Responsibilities

  • Process and manage payroll functions accurately and efficiently.
  • Calculate employee salaries, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle any payroll-related inquiries from employees or external parties.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information.
  • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Process payroll tax filings and submissions in a timely manner.
  • Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Participate in payroll system implementation and enhancements as required.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
