Job Description

As a Logistics Specialist 30N25, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations related to the supply chain processes within an organization. Your expertise will be vital in managing the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and supplies, which is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency of the company. You will coordinate with various departments to oversee and optimize inventory levels, manage logistics operations, and develop logistics strategies to improve service delivery. A keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and strong organizational skills will be essential as you will be responsible for handling both logistical challenges and opportunities in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the flow of goods and supplies efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics costs to identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Communicate with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory control processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address logistics and supply chain issues.
  • Optimize transportation logistics processes to improve service delivery speed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and present logistics management reports for operational insights.
  • Use logistics management software to track and report on supply chain activities.
  • Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives in logistics operations.
  • Manage warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage and distribution procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of professional experience in logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
