Job Description

The Executive - Social Media Marketing is a vital role within the marketing team, responsible for implementing and managing the company's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales. The role requires a creative individual with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of various social media platforms and how to optimize content to engage audiences. You will work closely with the marketing team to create and manage campaigns across multiple social media channels, analyze the performance of those campaigns, and devise strategies to achieve and exceed marketing goals. You must be adaptive to new digital technologies and forward-thinking in keeping the company ahead in the rapidly changing social media landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create engaging, creative, and high-quality content for various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure, optimize, and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and emerging trends.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage online discussions in a timely manner.
  • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely publication of posts.
  • Identify and engage with influencers to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Organize and manage social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for maximum return on investment.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the social media landscape.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on best social media practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on social media strategies and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media marketing or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing successful social media channels.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their functionalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms is required.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment is important.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills to report on performance metrics and trends.
