ROLE PURPOSE

Maintain Windows computing environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring system performance. Brings in reliable, durable and cost-effective solutions for all IT related needs. Perform various system administration activities and other administrative duties within IT Corporate Department

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple mission critical Windows servers (Software/Hardware) in both physical and virtual platforms, ensuring proper integration of these components with existing company’s computer systems.
• Installs and debugs new and/or upgraded software on server, Conducts growth analysis and capacity planning
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary and perform preventive and performance maintenance activities; e.g. system restart, disk cleanup, access review
• Research, evaluates purchases, installs, configures, and troubleshoots hardware, peripherals, and equipment necessary to meet integrated systems objectives
• Managing company storage infrastructure (SAN & NAS technology)
• Ensure Corporate services availability by performing health monitor via a centralized monitoring system
• Provide technical consultancy and guidance to all departments in initiating new projects
• User administration (setup and maintaining account)
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
• Familiar with different versions of Windows servers.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Ability to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services.
• Expert in hardware & software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of a range of network systems, protocols, and applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of LAN administration in a secure environment.
• Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
• Knowledge of systems security protocol, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of systems growth analysis and capacity planning processes and techniques.
• Knowledge of a broad range of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment.
• Knowledge of data management techniques.
• Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software.
• Knowledge of computer site licensure regulations and requirements.
