Credit Manager - SCF

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in SME lending within the region. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial and analytical skills, particularly in ratio analysis, and will be responsible for overseeing the credit evaluation and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Evaluation:
• Review and assess credit applications from mid corporate/large corporate clients, ensuring thorough analysis of creditworthiness.
• Experience in handling working capital finance, supply chain finance or term loans through financial based underwriting methods.
• Exposure to digital lending and decision automation is preferred. This includes experience in working on digital lending modules.
• Carry out ratio analysis to evaluate financial statements and understand the financial health of borrowers is a plus.
• Risk & Policy Management:
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of credit policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal credit standards.
• Prepare regular reports on credit performance, risk exposures, and portfolio quality.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with sales and relationship management teams to understand client needs and tailor credit solutions accordingly.
• Provide training and guidance to junior credit analysts on best practices in credit evaluation.
  
  

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in corporate or SME lending for asst credit mgr, 15+ years for credit mgr. Experience in UAE region is a must, having worked in regional banks/finance companies.
• Proven experience in credit risk assessment and management.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
