We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing our organization's communication strategies across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of strategic communications, media relations, and content creation. You will be responsible for devising communication plans, crafting compelling narratives, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. Working closely with senior leadership, you will also advocate for the organization’s mission and vision through innovative communications strategies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create and oversee production of engaging content for diverse communication channels.
  • Manage media relations, build relationships, and maintain a broad network of contacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and communication efforts.
  • Monitor communication trends to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Draft and edit speeches, press releases, and other communications materials for stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to senior management on communication issues.
  • Plan and execute internal communications to enhance corporate culture and employee engagement.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities for strategic communication and outreach programs.
  • Utilize digital tools and social media to expand outreach and engagement with target audiences.
  • Coordinate crisis communication initiatives to protect the organization’s reputation.
  • Analyze communication metrics and prepare reports to guide future strategies and decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in strategic communications or a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of media monitoring, social media, and digital analytics tools.
  • Experience in managing complex communication projects from conception to completion.
  • Proven ability to develop effective communication strategies for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in crisis communication and issues management essential.
