Responsibilities
60% Client and Process Management
- Proactive client engagement and end-to-end ownership of client workflows and data remidiation
- Handle complex reconciliation tasks and manage client communications, including emails, RPDs, and issue trackers, while adhering to process timelines.
- Develop and maintain support documentation for automated workflows to ensure clarity and process consistency.
- Engage proactively with clients for process maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring continuous client satisfaction.
20% Automation and Script Support
- Monitor automated critical client processes to ensure their smooth operation and effectiveness.
- Interpret and support scripts written in Windows batch, Perl, PowerShell, and VBScript.
- Utilize command-line tools (e.g., PGP, ZIP) and file transfer utilities (e.g., FTP, SFTP/SCP/SSH) to manage and troubleshoot automated processes.
20% Training and Floor Support
- Provide training and floor support to new hires on an ad-hoc basis to help integrate them into the team effectively.
- Extend support for new hire and team audits as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide immediate floor support for queries raised by team members, ensuring all internal queries are addressed and resolved promptly.
Required Skills
- Undergraduate or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- A graduate degree and/or relevant certifications like CFA Level 1/FRM Level 2 are preferred.
- Internal candidates - At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Portfolio Services.
- Demonstrated strength in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time and task management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of portfolio services workflows and research.
- Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience in logic/coding is an advantage.
- Good command of the English language, both written and oral.
