Senior Test Automation Engineer Katalon

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of software delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing processes are integrated seamlessly into the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating and executing automated test scripts, participating in code reviews, and monitoring the quality of applications through continuous testing practices. Your role will also include identifying areas for improvement and providing solutions to enhance the testing process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and implement automation strategies to improve testing efficiency. - Monitor and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Katalon Studio. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools. - Familiarity with API testing and security testing frameworks. - Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
