Job Description
- Responsible for designing logical data models.
- Responsible for creating physical data models.
- Provides optimization strategies for existing data models.
- Reviews deliverables to ensure completeness and correctness against business requirements.
- Ensures that the physical design meets the standards set by the Data Architecture team.
- Collaborates with other Data Architects in developing data solutions.
- Guides and provides input to Solution Architects on the implementation of various BI solutions.
- Builds source system knowledge to help determine the best source for specific information.
- Provides source-to-target mapping for reports, extractions, and other analytical requirements.
- 6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, reporting, business intelligence, or any related field.
- Must have experience in designing and/or developing a mid- to large-scale data warehouse or data lake.
- Experience in implementing various relational or NoSQL databases or Hadoop technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Hive, Pig, Impala, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase).
- Experience in either Reporting or ETL is required.
- Knowledgeable in data warehousing implementation using MPP databases.
- Proficient in both 3NF and Star Schema model implementation.
- Familiar with various Hadoop implementation strategies.
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Guaranteed 14th month pay
