Cyber Threat Analyst II (Hunting Tools, SIEM, EDR)

Summary Of The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Threat Analyst to strengthen our global CERT supporting an elite Global Security Operation Center. You will lead high‑quality investigations into cold threats, work closely with global intelligence partners, and help shape how the organization detects and responds to emerging cyber threats.

This role requires a strong analytical background, hands‑on experience with SOC/CERT operations, and the ability to navigate various threat signals from intelligence feeds, vulnerability sources, darknet monitoring, and exposure management platforms.

In This Role You Will / Your Main Responsibilities

• Advanced Investigation: Lead deep-dive investigations, pivoting from threat intelligence to active environment hunting.
• Exposure Management: Analyze newly disclosed vulnerabilities including zero-day vulnerabilities, to make triage decisions based on robust fast-tracking criteria.
• Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for indicators of compromise (IoCs), indicators of attacks (IoAs) or indicators for exposures (IoA) and behaviors associated with advanced persistent threats (APTs).
• Strategic Mapping: Utilize the Diamond Model and MITRE ATT&CK to build comprehensive incident reports and improve detection rules.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement, playbook tuning, and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in the development of new hunting hypotheses, detection logic, and operational documentation.
  
  

About The Ideal Candidate

• 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in a SOC or Incident Response environment.
• Hands on experience with SIEM, EDR, threat intel platforms, and hunting tools.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of LOTL techniques, social engineering tactics, and the Pyramid of Pain.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to pivot across datasets and identify attacker behaviors across logs, alerts, and intelligence feeds.
• Familiarity with Malware analysis technics.
