Job Description

The Senior HR Internal Controls Business Analyst will assist in the execution of FME’s compliance program through aligning and rolling-out our HR Services Audit & Compliance program. The role will partner with Internal Controls and local teams to review control findings, assess process gaps, develop and implement mitigating procedures.

Responsibilities

HR Controls


  • Design, implement, and maintain global HR internal controls; ensure local HRS alignment with global standards.
  • Oversee country-specific HR controls and implement localized controls adhering to process standards and segregation of duties (SOD).
  • Develop and maintain controls-related documentation, including SOPs, guidelines, and reference materials.
  • Identify, train, and support Control Owners, Subprocess Owners, and other key roles on control updates.
  • Maintain trackers, inventories, and reports while supporting global HR and payroll process design and transition initiatives.


Incident Reporting


  • Develop and maintain job aids, SOPs, checklists, and tools to support effective incident reporting.
  • Investigate reported issues, validate impact, identify corrective actions, and engage relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across HR and Internal Controls to assess severity, pervasiveness, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Maintain trackers, inventories, and reports to ensure accurate and centralized reporting.
  • Support cross-organizational communication and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • 6+ years’ professional experience in HR and/or Controls-related roles
  • Experience identifying process gaps and implementing mitigating controls
  • Strong understanding of payroll and HR processes
  • Excellent analytical skills for evaluating complex information
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, data protection)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, HCM systems (preferably Workday), and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Fluent in English; additional European language and flexible working hours preferred


This is a fixed-term, two-year contract position.
