US Audit Senior US Accounting Firm WFH

Schedule: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM PH Time

Salary: P80k - P85k

What Will You Do

Major Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead client audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of US generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting
  
  

practices.

• Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and
  
  

techniques.

• Build credibility by displaying business acumen, applying technical competence, and engaging in relevant
  
  

discussions with clients and engagement teams

• Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns on audit process.
• Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues.
• Acquire a working knowledge of the clients business.
• Proactively interact with key clients management to gather information, resolve problems, and make
  
  

recommendations for business and process improvements.

• Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years recent work experience as an auditor at a public accounting firm, demonstrating a
  
  

progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic business, technology, or audit principles/standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
  
  

Education And Licenses

• Bachelors in Accounting.
• Masters degree is a plus, but not mandatory
• CPA certification (active) preferred
• If not CPA, actively working toward education and requirements for CPA certification.
