This position is primarily responsible for growing BPI Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards business through various cards’ usage programs/campaigns and marketing tie-ups in eCommerce and Essentials, to make BPI Credit, Debit, and Prepaid Card the preferred payment card among existing and potential cardholders.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for growing Debit Cards and Credit Cards’ eCommerce and Essentials business volume, which accounts for 19% share on essentials, 21% share on ecommerce from total credit card billings.
Responsible for developing overall eCommerce and Essentials usage strategies, programs, and campaigns that can generate incremental usage for BPI Credit, Debit, and Prepaid Cards business, grow billings and CCL market share, and profitability.
Requires in-depth understanding of how the Cards Usage business in retail and omnibus and contribute to achieving the target goals.
Develops marketing strategies and identifies usage programs and merchant partnerships that generates volume while addressing market needs.
Responsible for managing and building relationships to key and emerging merchant partners in terms of overall merchant relationship and partnership, volume generation and profitability. This entails building relationships with key merchant decision markers i.e. owners, general managers, marketing director to negotiate and agree on a marketing partnerships which defines the overall growth of the Cards business.
Drives the completion, execution and implementation of usage marketing initiatives, programs, and campaigns to ensure billings growth of the Credit, Debit, and Prepaid Card business and deliver maximum results.
Manages omnibus and retail discretionary usage performance and identify opportunity for improvements.
Organizes and manages the team to achieve optimum performance, including assignments of projects/programs, hiring of new and replacement officers/staff, promotions and job rotations to ensure delivery of target goals.
Discusses the development of needs of each team member and takes appropriate actions to ensure subordinates can deliver their goal and campaign performance.
Collaborates closely with Data Science Business Analytics to develop strong MIS and Finance for financial/campaign projections and performance monitoring versus targets on a regular basis
Collaborates closely with other divisions/departments within the Unsecured Lending cards Group, Segments/Channels Group within the bank to plan, develop and implement the various planned marketing programs
Delivers the annual targets based on identified strategies for the year
Manage strategic and tactical usage programs, ensure proper program tracking is in place to ensure that targets are achieved.
Drives analytics and provide insights on market trends and ensure that programs meet targets/goals.
Comes up with program profitability model and ensure that programs meet targets/goals.
Effectively manages resources, budget and personnel, by prioritizing initiatives and programs to deliver maximum results
Ensures compliance to regulations and business policies.
Qualifications
Graduate of a Bachelors Degree
At least 8 years experience in Marketing Management and Product Management
Credit Card knowledge on metrics such as customer base, billings, credit card loans, revolve rate, revenue. etc
Excellent written and verbal communications
Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
Must be excellent in decision making, analysis, negotiation, creatives and media proficiency
