👋What Are Our Wishes

Education and work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology/ Management, Applied Math. A graduate with minor in Accountancy is a definite advantage.
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience as a Systems and Business Analyst with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • At least 10 years of experience in data analysis and data integration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the analysis of financial data and applications.

Technical Knowledge

  • Working knowledge in data warehousing process and any reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau);
  • At least 5 years experience in loading data from spreadsheets, text files, etc.
  • Must have:
  • Understanding of entity-relationship diagrams, and can read and understand the Technical Reference Manuals
  • Understanding of Financial software such Bloomberg, S & P, Fitch and Moody’s
  • Understanding of ‘React’, Microsoft NoSQL Database schema, Terraform, for a range of application modules.
  • Understanding of and ‘Python’ Programming and SDK
  • Understanding of the basic database concepts: e.g., instance, table, table space, data files, database structure, indexes to fine tune programs and solve program failures.
  • Understanding of Market Data and Analytics o Understanding of Risk Management and software related to finance

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication and technical documentation skills in English
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline intensive environment
  • Self-motivated and with strong organizational skills.

Tools/Software

  • Familiarity with scripting language like Python
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)

💼How can you contribute to the team?

  • Obtain a deep understanding of the project client’s business processes and operations.
  • Lead the requirements elicitation of new initiatives and enhancements, including delivery of artifacts (eg. Business and Solution Modelling, Business Process Documentation, Functional/Non-Functional Specifications, etc.)
  • Perform root cause analysis, and work with relevant parties to troubleshoot operational issues associated with systems/tools;
  • Plan appropriate solutions based on collaborative efforts with multiple user groups and stakeholders. Prepare and maintain documentation of the same.
  • Assist in work prioritization of on-going and future systems; and align the prioritized deliverables with the Team and Business Users in a timely manner;
  • Conduct knowledge sharing/orientation and training to both Technical Teams and Business Users as needed.
  • In case of outsourced services, coordinates with appropriate vendor resources to ensure the same standards on planning, execution, and reporting are met as a minimum. In case of outsourced development services, coordinates with vendor resources to clarify requirements.
  • Coordinates with the appropriate QC Teams as required. May be involved in system integration testing and UAT.
  • Within an assigned IT Support team, the Senior Systems/Business Analyst works with, and under guidance from ITIN leadership to:
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in the Systems/Business Analysis area (eg. Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, Business Process Modelling and Notation, SDLC, Agile etc.).
  • Develop the support team’s assigned deliverables.
  • May be required to prepare and execute appropriate communication plans including presentations and conduct of training on the support team’s product.
