If you’re a senior Academic English teacher with C2-level English and experience in EAP and CEFR, EDGE Tutor invites you to teach for an industry-known UK language platform under our OPSE (Online Teaching & Support) track.

You’ll teach structured Academic English courses—from essay writing and presentations to critical reading and listening—while supporting learners on their path to higher education.

🕒 Schedule

Courses run to match UK morning hours, which fall in late afternoon/evening in Asia.

• Around 10 hours/week of live classes
• Typical teaching window: approximately 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM (Asia time)
• 10–15 hours/week of asynchronous work (marking, feedback, admin), completed anytime as long as deadlines are met

Who We’re Looking For

We work with learners building skills for academic study, essays, presentations, and university-style tasks. We’re looking for instructors who:

• Are confident teaching Academic English, not just general conversation
• Can support learners through continuous and summative assessment

Minimum Requirements (Must Have)

To ensure high-quality academic instruction, we require:

• C2 level of English
• Master’s Degree (preferably English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or related)
• TESOL / TEFL / CELTA or similar certification
• Proven English for Academic Purposes (EAP) teaching experience
• Working knowledge of CEFR and how it maps to academic skills
• At least 3 years teaching on platforms or in higher-education settings

• University or college English / EAP lecturers
• IELTS/TOEFL/academic prep instructors
• Instructors with essay writing, presentations, and academic literacy experience
