Solutions Architect

About The Role

We are looking for a Solutions Architect with strong experience in the banking domain to design, validate, and guide the implementation of end-to-end technology solutions across core banking, digital channels, integrations and large-scale enterprise platforms. This role is critical in ensuring that architecture decisions meet business needs while aligning with security, regulatory, and operational requirements of financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures for banking systems (e.g., core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, onboarding, AML/KYC).
• Create architecture blueprints, integration diagrams, data flows, and design documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and regulatory compliance (e.g., BSP, PCI-DSS, ISO).
  
  
  

• Provide technical direction to engineering, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams during project execution.
• Lead architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical assessments.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and resilience of proposed solutions.
  
  
  

• Design integration architectures using APIs, microservices, message queues, ESB, or event-driven patterns.
• Oversee interoperability with legacy systems, third-party banking services, and external partners (e.g., credit bureaus, payment gateways, fintechs).
  
  
  

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and SMEs to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support pre-sales, technical scoping, and solution presentations when required.
• Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints related to systems architecture.
  
  
  

• Ensure solutions comply with banking security standards, data privacy laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to architecture governance, documentation, and best-practice frameworks.
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or enterprise architecture roles.
• Experience working in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Strong background in system integration, API design, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment systems, and banking operations.
• Proficiency in architectural modeling tools (e.g., UML, ArchiMate, Visio).
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, BSP regulations).
  
  
  

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in regulated industries.
• Background in microservices, containerization, DevOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
• Certification such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or CISSP.
