Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team. This role combines the strategic responsibilities of Financial Planning & Analysis with the collaborative functions of a Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Business Partnering:
    • Act as co-collaborator with business stakeholders, providing strategic financial guidance and analysis
    • Partner with operational teams to develop and implement financial strategies
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives
    • Support business units in financial decision-making processes, including investment appraisals and cost management
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation to enhance financial processes
    • Collaborate with various departments to design, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial compliance and limit potential risk exposure
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead preparation of financial models, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
    • Ensure business alignment with strategic goals through collaboration with department heads
    • Analyze financial performance key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations into driving business decisions
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management
    • Conduct variance analysis to report on ROI and risks, and opportunities
    • Perform scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of business changes or potential risks on financial outcomes
    • Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop accurate headcount plans, including scenario analyses to support strategic workforce decisions
    • Review quarterly and annual P&L and B/S of the service business

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred but not required
  • Proven experience in FP&A with a focus in business partnering roles, a plus (preferably at a mid-to-large-sized organization)

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, Power BI, and/or other automation tools/apps
  • Self-starter with the ability to own the problem and the solution in a finance working environment
